Ye Olde Smokehouse, Cameron Highland Part 1

cerita percutian new year kat CH belum habis actually. we stay there for 2 nights and on the second nite we stayed at The Smokehouse Hotel. A traditional British hotel yg well-known in Cameron Highland.

ni la hotel dia. mmg very classic. the building of the hotel is the english style house built in 1937. 

sampai je depan hotel, kami disambut oleh the security bertanyakan nak masuk utk ke restoran or nak stay in. Security mmg very good sbb outsiders mmg not allowed utk masuk. kalo ade yg berniat nak amik gamba mmg kena snap dari luar hotel je. 

tips kalo nak amik gamba, kena at least masuk ke restoran dia. bole cuba the famous scones yg mmg really sedap! walaupon tak dapat full access at least bole la posing-posing sekitar hotel compound. 

hotel ni still menggunakan traditional registration type iaitu kena isi form bila register. lol! nampak tak gile tekun i isi form tu. hahaha

ni la form dia. byk plak tu column nak kena fill up. walaupon dah book online pon still kena fill up form. mcm not really up to date sgt la kan? oo maybe nak kekalkan traditional concept hotel ni kot. tp i think the management should upgrade the system since sekarang everything is online and computer. normally kite only bagi IC/passport then the staff yg key in everything.

the welcome drinks! tea adalah signature drink kat sini. the taste biasa je sbb plain tea. 

sementara tunggu bilik siap kitorg lepak2 kat lobby sambil snap2 gamba. jom tengok dlm hotel ni pulak..

bahagian bawah or restoran area divided into several sections and each section with its own design from the light, sofa, fireplace etc. yg pasti deko-deko setiap section tu sgt cantek. terasa mcm berada dlm umah orang putih.

sume hiasan yg tergantung kat dinding ruang hotel ni i suka T___T

ruangan yang lengkap dengan sofa ni sebenarnya boleh lepak-lepak makan dan minum sebab ia adalah sebahagian daripada restoran hotel. sambil makan dan minum bole feel mcm berada dlm rumah. good concept.

next entry i tunjuk kawasan luar hotel pulak. cantik mcm taman bunga. eh mmg taman bunga pon sbb mcm-mcm bunga bole jumpe. hehe

Steamboat Buffet in Cameron Highland

dengan cuaca yg sejuk dingin di CH, steamboat is definitely perfect combo for dinner. restoran steambot ni located betul2 sebelah De La Fern Hotel. actually steamboat ni bukan la my favourite. tapi sebab malas nak ronda-ronda redah jem cari tempat makan plus malam tu mmg hujan lebat. so kami turun walk in saje kat restoran tu. lagipon sebelah restoran tu ade kedai souvenier.  

dari balcony bilik pon bole nampak crowd dlm restoran. so sblm crowd terlalu ramai kami turun lebih kurang jam 730 mlm mcm tu. 

ni la keadaan dlm kedai waktu kami smpai. most of the table mmg dah ade org reserve. so tips kalo nak mkn steamboat kat sini dtg la sebelum pukul 8 and kalo in big group better buat reservation.

harga RM23 per head with minimum of 2 pax. harga standard even steamboat area subang pon bole dapat harga ni. bezanya kat sini diorg serve utk kita, and bukan yg kita bole amik sendiri mcm normal buffet. 

for me its more than enough sbb kami tak dapat habiskan pon 2 plates steamboat yg diorg hidangkan. 

selain steamboat, makanan bergoreng mcm nasi goreng, mee goreng etc pon bole order. the dessert pon byk pilihan and look really tempting. 

steamboat kat sini bole mkn waktu siang or mlm. gile ape mkn steamboat siang-siang kan? mcm tak kena je. hehe

overall, restoran ni really recommended utk mkn mlm, tengahari or tea time. byk pilihan, sedap dan lokasi sgt strategik =D

De La Fern Hotel, Cameron Highland

New year holiday, i decided to go to Cameron Highland. Walaupon dah berkali-kali datang CH, i still find it lovely especially this time around weather was really cold. this time mmg nak avoid stay area Brinchang sbb sesak dengan orang and the traffic jam is really terrible bila time pasar malam. cukup la hari-hari ngadap jem kat kl and time cuti ni nak enjoy the natural beauty without any stress.

As usual, booking thru agoda.com dapat la deluxe room at De La Fern Hotel at rm290/night inclusive breakfast for 2 pax. mmg agak mahal sbb kalo normal rate hotel ni if purchase thru agoda dlm rm220/night but still cheaper compared to published rate dia about rm380.

walaupon tak besar mane tapi lobby hotel dia cantek. dari lampu ke sofa ke decorations sume cantek. me like!!

ni waiting area kat lobby. ohhh... me sgt suka ngan sofa dia. english style! sambil lepak2 dengan keadaan sejuk dingin, feeling2 mcm kat negara omputih bole la access free wifi kat sini sbb kat bilik takde wifi.

kabus tebal gile. ni dah petang tp berkabus mcm pagi. so bole imagine tak cemane cuaca kat sane? fyi, most of the hotel kat Cameron Highland ni without aircond or kipas sbb mmg naturally sejuk. 

memang percutian kali ni nak lepak2 dlm bilik je. time lapar je kuar mkn. hehe. so harus la layan movie kat bilik. bile kat umah takde pulak feel nak layan movie. balik keja siap2 utk tido, bangun tido siap2 nak g keja. tu je rutin hari2.

 cuti kali ni mmg takde plan nak gi strawberry farm or teh farm. dulu dah pegi lawat sume2 tu. this time nak menikmati hari-hari kat hotel je. memandangkan hotel2 kat CH ni mmg takde facilities mcm gym or swimming pool, so mmg kite rehat dlm bilik je la.

room facilities ok. selain LCD tv, ade hair dryer, iron, tab mandi and basic facilities tu mmg cukup.

hotel ni mmg terletak betul2 di tepi main road tanah rata-brinchang. lokasi sgt strategik sbb sebelah tu tempat mkn steambot and kedai survenir. takyah nak sesak2 kat tanah rata or brinchang nak cari mkn. hehe

mmg sejuk mata memandang dikelilingi hijau hutan.

bangun pagi mestila cari makan dulu. breakfast buffet start at 730am-1030am. the foods were ok walaupon tak byk choice. yg penting ade nasi lemak and english breakfast dah cukup kenyang.

ni baru 1st round. time cuti adalah time utk menikmati makanan tanpa henti. hehe

very well-recommended hotel. walaupon taraf 3 bintang je hotel ni tp bilik, service, food, kebersihan sgt tip top. lokasi hotel pon sgt strategik, yg penting tak sesak mcm area Brinchang =D

Welcome 2013!

Rasenye belum lewat lagi nak wish happy new year utk semua. Harini 2.1.13, me masih bercuti. di kala sume orang dah start masuk sekolah, ni la masa utk i bercuti. Kalo tak sume tempat penuh sesak kan?

tak perlu la recap ape yg berlaku tahun lepas rasenye. walaupon byk jugak impian2 yg belum terlaksana. barang lepas jgn dikenang. hahaha. lets focus on 2013 then.

tahun ni i nak...

1. Extra focus on business sbb nak earn lagi byk extra money.
2. Save more than usual.
3. Nak completekan perabot and accessories rumah.
4. Upgrade sumbangan untuk ibunda.
5. Langsaikan hutang2 yg patut dihabiskan.
6. Settlekan kehendak yg belum selesai. yg ni basicly kehendak2 tahun2 dulu yg belum selesai. so continue to this year. hehe

ok sume impian di atas melibatkan duit thats why nak earn extra money is my top priority. hehe. paling best buat business bila bonus besar, saving bertambah, dapat spend lebih and save lebih. 

tahun baru, semangat baru. semoga dipermudahkan.
