 kebetulan diorg buat keja on saturday so dapat la tengok walaupon living and dining area dah siap cat since last week. ni sesi cat bilik2 pulak. blue color utk bilik 3 and bilik 4

My Dear Beloved Kitchen

Here are some progress photos on the past week's works. Aku rasa patut fokus kat kitchen renovation sbb most of the bajet goes to dry and wet kitchen. walaupon belum tentu lagi hari-hari aku akan masak tp dapur mesti cantek T______T

cantek tak? cantek taaaakkk?? tak kisah la korg nak cakap ape yg pasti aku sukaaaaaaaa!!

table top belum install. konsep dapur ni putih sebersih salju. table top pon putih sbb nak bagi nampak luas and nak  aku rajin kemas dapur sbb kaler putih kalo dapur kotor sikit pon dah obvious kotor dia kan 

haa ni ruang masak memasak dipanggil wet kitchen. just nice la utk aku main masak2 megi nnti. dapur dah meletops masak megi je ko nak pkai dapur niiii??? hahahaha. nanti2 la masak gulai asam pedas baking-baking segala. lol!

grille pon dah pasang. kalo bole tanak psg grille ni aku mmg tak suka. memandangkan rak kasut kat luar so psg la kat pintu depan ni je. rumah org lain aku tgk setiap pelusuk ade tingkap or sliding mesti pasang grille. korang tak rase mcm duk dlm jail ke haa? ni la mentaliti org malaysia, design rumah dah moden dah ngan glass concept but end up mcm jail rupe dia Y_______Y

Plaster Ceiling Progress Work

dah jadi routine every weekend mesti buat spot check and quality check of the work done. 

this is how the hallway looks like after opening to kitchen area dah tutup. plaster ceiling kat hallway area completed! haa ni baru cantek =D

plaster ceiling at living area pon completed. satisfied with the works so far. 

Renovation Officially Started

a week before dah byr deposit to the contractor to start work. then mintak contractor settlekan application utk renovation works. senang keja aku! expected to finish on 19/9/2012.

kenapa aku pilih Lee Contractor ni sbb dia la quote paling murah+free window tinted+free cuci rumah+free installation kipas, aircond and ape2 je nak mintak dia install. dia mmg cuba sedaya upaya squeeze the price to my bajet. yeay!! 
lain2 contractor mintak aku kurangkan scope of renovation utk fix to my bajet. ape daa korg ni. kan aku dh ckp nak buat the whole house within my bajet. skrg rezeki berpihak pada Lee. hehe

the most tricky area is yard+3rd bathroom ni sbb kena pecah and transform jadi wet kitchen. 

setakat ni sgt berpuas hati ngan housekeeping contractor ni. rumah tak bersepah2. brg2 dia tersusun rapi je.

Renovation Bajet: Expensive Taste vs Cikaput Fund!

every weekend mesti ade appointment ngan contractor. ye lah nak dpt quotation ni bukan senang, kena sit down discuss ngan contractor face to face then baru clear the works scope and design yang aku nak. at least kena spend about 2-3hours tau utk satu quotation! fuhh mencabar jugak especially aku sorg2 nk kena setel sume benda mmg mencabar fizikal dan minda.

nasib naik aku mmg in construction line so tau la sikit2 item or keja architecture ni. so to be afdal paling koman pon kena dapat 3 quotation so senang nak buat comparison.

mane nak cari kontraktor?? korg takyah risau, once rumah siap, berderet kontraktor akan dtg approach time korg visit rumah nnti. tp kena hati2 sbb kdg-kdg diorg ni akan letak price dem expensive. itu la perlu dptkan a few quotations utk comparison.

ade jugak contractor yg jadikan rumah customer diorg as a sample house and design. time ni mmg rambang mata. kalo kat sini ade dlm 6 bijik rumah dijadikan show house from 6 different contractors. time ni bole evaluate sendiri workmanship and material yg diorg pkai compared to their price.
